How to get there

Montánchez is located in the center of the triangle formed by Cáceres, Mérida and Trujillo, a little more than 40 km. far from each of them.

From Cáceres (faster): by highway Autovía Ruta de la Plata (A-66) towards Mérida, take the exit Cruce de las Herrerías (590). Then take the road EX-382, going through Alcuéscar. One kilometer before Montánchez, in a roundabout, take the exit to Montánchez. (see route)

From Cáceres (shorter): by road EX-206, going through the villages Torreorgaz, Torrequemada, Torremocha and Valdefuentes. After Valdefuentes, take the road EX-381, going through Torre de Santa María, to Montánchez. (see route)

From Mérida: by highway Autovía Ruta de la Plata (A-66) towards Cáceres, take the exit Cruce de las Herrerías (590). Then take the road EX-382, going through Alcuéscar. One kilometer before Montánchez, in a roundabout, take the exit to Montánchez. (see route)

From Trujillo: take the road EX-381 linking Trujillo and Montánchez, going through the villages La Cumbre, Ruanes, Salvatierra de Santiago and Torre de Santa María. (see route)
